ALMA isn't just a place to shop — it's a space to feel, explore, and connect. Part boutique, part gallery, part gastro-bar, and part gathering place, ALMA curates the unexpected to serve those who seek meaning in what they buy, and joy in how they live. Every detail, every artist, and every moment is chosen with care to arouse the senses and connect us to our source of inspiration. For discerning souls who crave more beauty, depth, and meaning in their everyday lives, ALMA is a multi-sensory sanctuary that awakens your soul through artisanal treasures, rituals, and wisdom from around the world.
Alma’s founders came to us to help them develop their brand strategy, and transform their vision into a tangible and inspiring visual identity and story that they use to could communicate their mission and value to the world.

Alma is a word that speaks across cultures and hearts. In Spanish, it means "soul" or "spirit." In Latin, it translates to "nourishing" or "kind." But for the founders, "all Ma" conjures something more: the great mother, the nurturing essence of earth that supports all life, growth, and evolution. It reflects their respect for diversity and culture, and the potential for joy that we all hold inside.
This name embodies everything they believe: that we are all spirits inhabiting physical bodies, united by an invisible thread of shared humanity, every one of us deserving of beauty, kindness, and sacred connection. The name became our jumping off point for developing Alma’s foundational messaging and the taglines, “Spirit Inspired” and “Awaken Your Senses, Feed Your Soul.”.
Every action they take now supports their mission of transforming commerce into connection, awakening spirit through beauty and source, and celebrating the magic in everyday rituals. -
Led by the talented Bel Lavratti of Uncover Branding, we developed Alma’s visual identity. Our journey began with the founders’ sources of inspiration, from which Bel came up with three creative routes. Choosing the best of each, we fine tuned until we have a winner.
Alma’s unique visual identity — logo variations, colors, iconography, and fonts — was created to reflect the brand’s strong femininity, earthy sensuality and handmade quality, while remaining elevated and luxurious in its simplicity at the same time.

Phase 1: Brand Communications Guidelines, capturing Alma’s story and foundational messaging; Brand Guidelines + related assets (logos, icons, fonts, colors); Photography Guidelines + a curated image bank of 100 photos for use in print and online content; an Instagram Starter Toolkit, including dozens of stunning templates for use in stories and posts.
